The turtle represents freedom, fearlessness and contentment in navigating the turbulent journeys we choose to take. This painting subsequently inspired a trip to Gili Trawangan at Lombok and a scuba diving certificate.

Zeus was still a crazy kitten. He was asleep, and that was a rare moment of peace. The outstretched paws represent his naivety and innocence*. If you look closer, you may see the canvas has a ripped mark (possibly thanks to Zeus).That is the best outcome of this painting.

“Unconsciousness awakes”, 2018
Adapted from a cartoon movie “Stand by me” where the main character Doraemon was taking a nap. Doraemon dreams of himself asleep which may mean he will really sleep for a very long time. His unconsciousness decides to step in and erase that dream.
